Inspired by Vintage
As a Costume Designer, and fashion lover, I have always been inspired by vintage clothing. I have found it remarkable how long vintage clothing lasts. Clothing that can make a statement for many years.
I started making clothing for myself, and then started to make clothing for photoshoots. I didn’t want to make things and then let them go to waste, so I decided to start selling the items after the shoot.
In order to be more eco-friendly, I am using fabrics that I have available (fabrics I bought before learning more about sustainability). As I grow, my needs for new fabrics will be bought from eco friendly, ethically traded sourced manufacturing companies.
As I work on more clothing items I will be featuring items socially and ethically sourced by other artisans. Currently featuring eco-friendly made wooden jewelry made by fairly paid artisans in Cebu, Philippines. This jewelry keeps traditional jewelry making alive!
